US rebar imports fall in February
US imports of rebar fell from January to February, Kallanish learns from preliminary steel import licensing data collected by the US Department of Commerce.
According to preliminary census data collected through 25 March, imports of rebar to the US totaled 77,495 tonnes in February. Imports for the month of February were down from January's revised imports, totaling 98,060t. The leading countries in rebar exports to the US during February were Turkey…
