US new residential sales up in December
Sales of new single-family houses in the US are up in December, from both the prior month and on-year, Kallanish reports.
In December, sales of new single-family houses were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 842,000 units, according to data gathered by the US Census Bureau and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. This is 1.6% above November's revised rate of 829,000 units.
