US new home sales continue to rise in May
Sales of new single-family houses in May increased as construction projects continue to ramp up across the US, Kallanish reports.
In the month of May, sales of new single-family houses were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 676,000 units, according to data gathered by the US Census Bureau and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. This is 16.6% above April's revised seasonally adjusted annual rate of 580,000 units.
