Metal orders rise slightly in April
US metal shipments and new orders rose slightly from March to April, Kallanish learns from data gathered by the US Census Bureau.
According to the US Census Bureau's advance durable goods report, shipments of preliminary metals rose 2.7% in April to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $21.65 billion. New primary metal orders rose 3% during the month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $22.59 billion.
