US manufacturing strength grows in November
US manufacturing activity continued to expand in November, according to the Institute for Supply Management.
The institute’s manufacturing index reached 58.2% in November, down from October’s reading of 58.7% but above the 50% threshold that represents growth. The overall economy – inclusive of non-manufacturing activities – has been growing for 102 consecutive months, Kallanish notes.
