US line pipe prices trend up
Both domestic and import line pipe prices increased in March, continuing a five-month trend, Kallanish learns from data aggregator Pipe Logix.
Domestic line pipe prices rose 5% to an average distributor price of $1,693/short ton, while import line pipe prices rose 3.9% to an average price of $1,174/st. The combined average US line pipe price has risen 26% over the past five months.
