US line pipe prices slide in June
Average US line pipe prices degraded slightly in June, driven by a significant drop in seamless prices, Kallanish learns from data provider Pipe Logix.
Pipe Logix’s line pipe index fell -1% to an average price of $1,154/short ton. The index takes into account both domestic and import line pipe prices.
“The index has been declining for nearly two years now with a cumulative decline of -30% since August 2014,” Pipe Logix reports.
