US line pipe prices rise in May
US line pipe prices posted their seventh consecutive month of increases in May, according to analytics company Pipe Logix.
Domestic line pipe prices rose 2.8% to $1,773/short ton, while import prices rose 3.5% to $1,224/st, Kallanish finds.
The cumulative seven-month increase across both categories is 32%.
