US line pipe prices inch up
Average US line pipe prices ticked up 1.4% in July, led by strong domestic seamless pricing, according to data analyst Pipe Logix.
The average of both domestic and line pipe prices is now $1,535/short ton, Kallanish understands.
Domestic line pipe prices increased 2.5% in July to $1,843/st – including a 6% increase in domestic small-diameter seamless material.
Import line pipe prices, however, retreated -0.2% to $1,227/st.
