US line pipe prices drop in August

Both domestic and import line pipe prices sank in August, Kallanish learns from analyst and data collector Pipe Logix. Average US line pipe pricing fell by -2.8% from July to $1,613/short ton, inclusive of both domestic and import pipe. Domestic prices fell by -2.1% to $1,773/st, while import prices fell by -3.7%.
