US line pipe prices continue drop: Pipe Logix
US line pipe prices continued to fall in April, Kallanish learns from analyst Pipe Logix.
Average line pipe index prices fell -4.2% to $1,433/short ton, while domestic prices fell by -4.6% to $1,575/st and import prices fell by -3.8% to $1,291/st.
Pipe Logix notes that all tracked items fell in April, though large-diameter pipe posted a larger drop than small-diameter and welded pipe posted a larger drop than seamless.
