US ITC: Keep Korean auto tariffs till 2041
The US International Trade Commission recommends US tariffs on Korean automobiles stay in place for the next 23 years, Kallanish reports.
The US Trade Representative initially proposed phasing out the current 25% duty on Korean automobiles over the next three years, in line with the KORUS free trade agreement.
The commission, however, has recommended that the tariffs remain in place until 2041.
