US imports less Latin American steel in 2020

The US closed 2020 with a reduction in steel imports from Latin America, according to preliminary December data issued by the US Census Bureau and monitored by Kallanish. Latin America in this context includes South and Central American countries together with Mexico. LatAm steel shipments to the US amounted to 278,722 tonnes in December.
