US hot-rolled bar imports down in July
US imports of hot-rolled bar decreased from June to July, Kallanish learns from the US Department of Commerce.
According to preliminary census data gathered by the department, imports of hot-rolled bar totalled 39,159 tonnes in the month of July. This is a -13.13% decrease from June's final imports of 45,076t. Additionally, this is a -42.32% decrease from last year's July imports of 67,885t.
