US finds against Mexico in rebar circumvention case

The US Department of Commerce has found evidence of duty circumvention concerning rebar imports from Mexico, Kallanish reports.  The case concerns hooked or bent rebar exported by Deacero S.A.P.I. de C.V to the US, which appears to circumvent duties on straight and coiled rebar.  Deacero was found to have not dumped rebar into the US in a July ruling by the US Department of Commerce.
