US duties hamper Borusan Mannesmann’s sales in 2019
Borusan Mannesmann’s prime quality products’ sales declined -20% on-year in 2019 to 668,000 tonnes, of which 70% was exported. The drop was mainly due to reduced project sales in America on account of rising duties.
2019 Ebitda was TRY 439.1 million ($71.4m), down from TRY 652.4m last year. Profit margin fell from 5.82% a year earlier to 1.44%, while Ebitda margin fell to 9.6% from 13.4%.
