US DOC prepares flange case against China, India

The US Department of Commerce is slated to announce a dumping and subsidy investigation into imports of stainless steel flanges from India and China, Kallanish reports. The announcement is expected by 6 September with an accompanying fact sheet. The petitioners in the case – Core Pipe Products and Maass Flange Corporation – allege that the US imported $16.3 million in flanges from China and $32.1m from India in 2016.
