US construction momentum index increases in December
The US Dodge Data & Analytics Momentum Index for construction rose 9.2% in December to 134.6 points in December from November's revised reading of 123.3 points, Kallanish reports.
The commercial building sector of the index saw a jump of 14%, increasing from 145.6 points in November to 165.9 points in December. In contrast, the institutional building sector increased only slightly, by 0.3%, from 95.6 points in November to 95.9 points in December.
