US construction index finishes March strongly
The US construction industry ended the first quarter with solid growth, Kallanish learns from the American Institute of Architects.
The institute’s architectural billings index rose in March to 53.4 from 50.7 in February. The index follows the 9-12 month lead time between billings and actual construction spending, and scores above 50 usually indicate growth.
