US construction employment continues rise
US construction employment ticked up in a majority of polled metro areas between April 2017 and April 2018, Kallanish learns from the Associated General Contractors of America.
Employment increased in 256 of 358 surveyed metro areas, declining in 63 and remaining static in 39.
The Dallas-Plano-Irving, Texas, corridor displayed the most growth with 12,400 jobs, an increase of 9%. The Middlesex-Monmouth-Ocean, New Jersey, corridor led the losses with 2,900 jobs…
