US architecture business conditions deteriorate toward pandemic levels
Architectural billings in the US declined in May for the fourth consecutive month, approaching levels seen in Covid-19 pandemic slowdown, Kallanish learns from the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Billings for architectural firms in the US for May registered a score of 42.4 points on the AIA/Deltek Architecture Billings Index (ABI), down from the April reading of 48.3. Above the 50-point threshold is indicative of growth.
