US adjusts CVDs in Korean plate duty review
The US Department of Commerce has set preliminary countervailing duty margins on imports of cut-to-length plate from South Korea.
Commerce found that Korean plate exporters and producers received countervailable subsidies during the 2020 calendar year, assigning a CVD rate of 0.56% for Dongkuk Steel Mill.
Hyundai Steel received a preliminary 0.26% de minimis CVD rate. A de minimis rate under 0.5% means no duties will be collected, Kallanish understands.
