Ural Steel hikes pig iron output after upgrade
Zagorsk Pipe Plant (ZTZ)’s Ural Steel works has completed the large-scale reconstruction of blast furnace No.4, Kallanish notes.
It has already been put into operation after almost a year of inactivity and will help the works produce additional pig iron, the enterprise claims.
According to the company, after reaching full operating capacity, BF No.4 will produce 3,500 tonnes/day of pig iron.
