USW perceives holes in Nippon's USS operational promises
Leaders of the United Steelworkers (USW) union say their latest communications with Nippon Steel demonstrate that the Japanese steelmaker has no substantive plan to back up commitments to US Steel employees if Nippon were to acquire the Pittsburgh, Pennnsylvania-based company.
