Unions strike after accident at Acciaierie di Verona
An explosion occurred on Monday morning at the long products mill of Acciaierie di Verona in northern Italy. The accident follows two incidents that took place during the summer and has triggered the unions to announce a series of strikes this week, Kallanish learns from local sources.
The explosion harmed four workers at the site; it happened during the repair works of a furnace. Smaller accidents occurred in July and August at the site.
