Unesid welcomes EU trade defence measures
The Spanish steelmakers’ association Unesid is the latest body to express its satisfaction about the changes approved last week by the European Commission (EC) in relation to the definitive safeguard measures. These are a consequence of the growing diversion of steel into the EU market due to unilateral US measures restricting imports of steel to the American market (see Kallanish passim).
