UK's August car output drops, second pandemic-wave awaited
UK car production fell -45% on-year in August to 51,039 units, as the coronavirus pandemic stalled efforts to ramp up output, with weak demand overseas compounded by heavy domestic losses, says the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
