Ukraine’s September semis exports drop, pig iron grows
Ukrainian exports of semi-finished products decreased in September, according to customs data monitored by Kallanish.
The country exported 603,100 tonnes of semi-finished steel, down by 3.9% on-year. Revenue generated by these shipments however increased 90.5% to $426 million. In January-September Ukraine exported 5.4 million tonnes of semis, less by 6.5% on-year, but revenue increased by 55.7% to $3.2 billion.
