Ukrainian steel plants receive higher scrap tonnage

Steel plants in Ukraine were supplied with more scrap tonnages in November compared with the previous month, show data from the Ukrainian association of secondary metals, UAVtormet. The volume amounted to 310,900 tonnes, up by 15.4% on-year, Kallanish notes. However, January-November supplies fell by -7.8% on-year to 2.6 million tonnes.
