Turkish demand lifts Ukrainian first-quarter scrap exports

Ukrainian ferrous scrap exports increased in the first quarter, show national customs data monitored by Kallanish. January-March exports totalled 49,100 tonnes, up by 4.3% on-year. Export value rose 5.7% on-year to $16.6 million. In March alone, Ukrainian enterprises exported 18,900t of scrap.
