Ukraine to procure less scrap in 2021: association
Steel plants in Ukraine will procure less ferrous scrap this year compared to 2020 due to higher prices and global demand, according to the Ukrainian association of secondary metals, UAVtormet.
Supply of scrap to metallurgists this year will decrease by -3-4.8% on-year to 2.75-2.8 million tonnes, Kallanish notes.
