Ukraine pipemakers decrease production, outlook positive
Ukraine’s pipemakers decreased production in January-May, says national pipemakers’ association Ukrtruboprom.
Total volume produced amounted to 176,300 tonnes, down by 16% on-year, Kallanish notes.
However, according to the results from May, pipe manufacturers increased production by 2.5 times to 45,000t compared to April.
In particular, Nikopol pipe production surged 2.6 times. Centravis increased output by 45% and Novoskomsky Zavod by 2.3 times. …
