UK vehicle manufacturing continues to tumble in 2019

British car production fell again in 2019 for the third consecutive year, according to trade association SMMT data monitored by Kallanish. Commercial vehicle (CV) output also fell, but not quite as heavily. British car manufacturing was down -14.2% in 2019 to 1.3 million units, the lowest output since 2010, SMMT says.
