UK vehicle output continues to slide
UK passenger car and commercial vehicle (CV) production both fell in September. The sector continues to be impacted by both domestic problems and by wider economic issues in international markets.
UK car production fell by -3.8% in September to 122,256 units, rounding off a turbulent first nine months for the sector, according to the latest data from SMMT monitored by Kallanish.
