UK Steel launches new steel public procurement initiative
UK Steel will today, 20 May, launch a new public procurement initiative with UK government support, the trade association tells Kallanish. Known as the UK Steel Charter, the project is aimed at maximising the amount of UK-produced steel used in UK construction and infrastructure projects.
