UK manufacturing sector continues resurgence in May
The UK manufacturing PMI continued its resurgence in May, according to the Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish. Although the index figure slipped slightly from April’s three-year high, output and new order growth remained solid and the rate of job creation was at a 35-month high.
