UK manufacturing remains on the upswing
Activity in the UK manufacturing sector dipped slightly month-on-month in September according to the latest IHS Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish. There was further solid growth of output, new orders and employment, but Input price inflation rose to a six-month high, the survey suggests. Activity in the sector remains buoyant.
