UK manufacturing PMI slips despite positive market outlook
The UK manufacturing PMI slipped to an eight-month low in February as slower output growth offset stronger new order inflows, according to the latest IHS Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish.
Output growth slowed despite improving demand and job creation. Price pressures remain elevated but have moderated since January, the survey results reveal.
