UK manufacturing PMI rises to three-year high
The UK manufacturing PMI recovered in April to hit a three-year high, according to the Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish. Output and new orders from the sector expanded at faster rates while stocks of purchases rose at a survey record pace.
