UK manufacturing growth slows in August

UK manufacturing activity pulled back fairly sharply in August according to the latest survey by IHS Markit/Chartered Institute of Marketing and Supply survey monitored by Kallanish. The purchasing managers’ index (PMI) for the month also dipped to a 25-month low.
