UK manufacturing continues strong recovery in December
The latest UK manufacturing survey report by Markit and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), monitored by Kallanish show that the fortunes of the sector improved again in December. Improved domestic and overseas demand boosted output and new order growth whilst price pressures stayed elevated but eased further from recent highs.
