UK manufacturing benefits from pre-Brexit stock build

The UK manufacturing sector purchasing managers’ index (PMI) rose to a 13-month high in March, according to the latest IHS Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish.  Stocks of inputs and finished goods rose at record rates while trends in output, new orders and employment all strengthened.
