UK manufacturing activity slips back in April
The UK manufacturing purchasing managers’ index (PMI) slipped in April, Kallanish learns from the monthly survey by IHS Markit and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. Average purchase costs rose and pre-Brexit stock-building continued at solid, yet slower, pace, the survey revealed.
