UK manufacturing activity gets December boost
UK manufacturing activity increased in December to a six-month high according to the latest IHS Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish. Both new order and new export order inflows strengthened during the month and stocks of purchases and finished goods rose sharply.
