UK manufacturing activity dips in October
Activity in the UK manufacturing sector fell in Octber according to the IHS Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing (CIPS) monthly survey monitored by Kallanish. Both new orders and employment declined for first time in 27 months. Input cost and output price inflation both eased however.
