UK manufacturing activity continues to sink
The UK manufacturing sector activity plunged to a six-year low in June according to the latest IHS Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish. Output was scaled back as new order inflows contracted and business confidence dipped amid ongoing uncertainty, the survey reveals.
