UK construction demand strengthens in December
The UK construction sector continued its fourth quarter revival in December as the upturn in new work accelerated and output increased at its fastest pace since March. The downside was that input cost inflation increased to its highest level since 2011, according to the latest Markit/Chartered Institute of Purchasing (CIPS) survey monitored by Kallanish.
