UK construction activity grows in October
UK construction output rose in October according to the latest Markit/CIPS survey of the sector monitored by Kallanish. Business activity increased at the fastest pace since March although the non-steel intensive residential building sector remains the key growth engine. Input price inflation was close to its highest level since mid-2011, Markit/CIPS says.
