UK competition authority studies proposed Tata Steel subsidy
The UK Competition and Markets Authority’s Subsidy Advice Unit (SAU) will create a report, involving third-party consultation, into the proposed £500 million ($633m) government funding for Tata Steel UK’s decarbonisation. This will evaluate whether the funding complies with the subsidy control requirements.
