UK carmaking grows again in July, challenges remain
UK car manufacturing output rose 8.6% on-year in July to 58,043 units, representing the third consecutive month of growth, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). However, this was from a very low base as July 2021 was the worst July since 1956.
